Wandering the US of A with Lolita

I think this is a really nifty cover for Lolita. I was stuck with a more boring cover. You can only get this cover if you order it on a British website. It only costs 7 pounds. Or i guess it's Euros now. Anyway, in the novel Lolita and Humbert Humbert are traveling across the United States for a second time. They has a brief home in Beardsley where Lolita went to an all girls school. However, Humberts insane jealousy prevented Lolita from being too social. In fact, Lolita ran away and when Humbert found her, she conculded that they should travel again. So, there they are, traveling across the Western plains of the United States. Though this time someone is following them. Humbert believes someone hired this man in the red car to spy on them, but I think Lolita wants to be free from Humbert. Lolita's around 16 now and to me, it would make sense that she'd want to have a life free from this aging pedophile. Afterall, she's almost a woman anyway. In order to make sure she never leaves him, he tells her she'd have to go to an orphanage or with some poor relative and live in filth instead of the posh lifestyle she lives now. I figure that the spy (Humbert nicknamed him "Trapp" after a relative who looks similar) will end up finding some incriminating evidence which will lead to Humbert's arrest etc. I really can't predict what will happen to Lolita though. I don't know how she could live a normal life after such an abnormal and surely tramatizing childhood. There are only about 100 pages left in the book, so their relationship has to be discovered soon. I'm pretty excited to see how this ends.
Reading log is same as previous post.
